WOYWW #317

Happy Wednesday  Everbody!

This is my work space this morning to be shared on Julia's Stamping Ground blog where we show others what is on our work desk on Wednesdays.

Yesterday evening I tried a new shaped card which is in the bottom left.  The rectangle of brown is a scrap of thick plastic bag that I shirt my wet glue onto.

The two egg shaped sponges are something new to me and I find they work quite well with Distress inks.

The cut out circles of watercolour paper are for my project today together with the 3 Distress and  the small spritzer bottle.

I'll  use the waste another time.  So after making a coffee I'm ready for a morning's crafting.

Thank you for your visit and Happy Crafting to you all.

I used watercolour paper for my ATCs this year and it worked really well, hope. You have fun with yours..do the inks work better than watercolour paint? Those egg sponges seem to have intrigued people too :-)

I saw those sponges a couple of weeks ago in action - they leave a softer "smudge" than the pads - that sometimes leave a line on the paper.Have fun ! Thanks for the visit earlier xSoojay 17#

What a lovely organised desk you have - I must find out about egg shaped sponges, I find the TH rectangular ones often leave a line just like Sue Jones mentioned above. Thanks so much for stopping by my desk earlier, hope you have a great week,

I've heard quite a few people talk about those egg shaped sponges - I think I will stick to my Ranger tools though - too much money has been invested in them.
Just love your dogs - what gorgeous animals and what beautiful colours.

I was just reading about all those crafts that you do and have done, including painting china and firing them yourself. And now you make about 60-80 cards a month! Wow! I am impressed!
Thank you for visiting and your kind comment,
Have a great week,

Hi Barb, I see you are a busy bee at your desk, if you're like me I save all the scraps, even the thin ones that will fit a sentiment...cut to just the right width. I love Distress Inks too. Have fun and thanks for visiting my WOYWW desk, Cheers RobynO#28

Wow, that brown plastic may be a piece to use for glue but it does look fantastic! You may even wanna cut it up and use the pieces on a card or something... Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #25

can't QUITE see the card :) Like the look of the egg shaped sponges, I bet they give a much softer line than the pads do.
