Gilded Bi-Plane

This is a card I made for my husband.

I rubbed Pumice Stone Distress ink through a Stamping Up mask to make the background then rubbed over with distress ink before trimming off a strip to use for the sentiment strip.

I stamped a Penny Black sentiment several times on the background and rubbed through sequin waste with the same colour distress ink pad.

The old bi-plane is a small red rubber unmounted stamp bought from Stamp Addicts.  I stamped it onto acetate then put double sided  adhesive paper on the back.  I added gilding flakes and burnished it before mounting onto black and then white card.  I had to colour the middle brad as I didn't have a brown one.  The sentiment stamp is by Hobby Arts.

I  would like to enter this card into The Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #141 - For a Man or Boy and   The Creative Inspiration Challenge #318 - Male Creations
