Birdbath

Morning Everyone.

I opened the curtains this morning and we have snow.  It looks very pretty but I'm so glad I don't have to go out today.

I gave this card to a friend for her birthday on Wednesday so can show it now .

I stamped randomly onto the ribbed kraft card and added a snippet of pink ribbon.

The image is from an Inkadinkado set stamped with a black Archival inkpad then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  The colouring was done with Pro Markers and I put some glitter glue on the water for a bit of sparkle.

The Diecuts are Spellbinders which I won in The Snippets Playground recently.  They are one of my favourite sets which I now use regularly.

The card candi in each corner is some I made myself.  I posted it recently here .

I was pleased with how this card turned out so made a couple with blue ribbon for my charity box.

I'm taking my card over to join in at The Snippet Playground Week 212 and also Ribbon Girl's Challenge - Any Image.

I love the look of this card and I have that same die set, which is a lovely shape isn't it? Congrats on making Barb Candi too! I love making matching candi for my card using a hole punch and shaping mat.

Love the peaceful gentle colours Barb the soft pink and kraft go so well together, and the image is perfectly showcased by the background stamping.

Yes, we got dumped on yesterday too! We have about 6-8 inches of snow down. At least we didn't lose our electricity like we usually do during a big storm. I am not a winter girl! Your card is gorgeous - I love this colour combo!

No snow where I live, but we sure could use it up in the mountains. Glad you don't have to go out in the snow.

Really a lovely card, with this cute stamp and these sweet colours! So soft and clean! Love the diecut layers, their shapes remember me the open beack of the birdies :)
Fabulous background, it make the topper pop-out very well.
Clever idea to make the candi with a punch and use the shaped tool for dimension! Thanks for sharing!

Snow! Brrr! We haven't, don't get me wrong it did try but I suppose that's one advantage of being by the coast it usually doesn't last long.
A lovely bird bath card, it makes me think of brighter weather ahead, which is always good on a cold Monday afternoon.

Hugs Erika. x

What a sweet image. I don't think I've ever used kraft and pink together, but this card proves they are made for each other. Lovely color combo.
