Smiles on Friday - Week 154

Hello and thank you for your visit.

It's Friday again so time to link up with Annie on her Stitch in Time blog where every week she invites us to share happy times from our week.

I have scheduled my post for today as we are going to Cambridge to Aunty Stella's funeral.  She was a very special person and will be sadly missed by us all.

She is actually my hubby's Aunt but as we have been together since we were 15 years old she has been an Aunt to me too.

Now onto my smiles for the week.

I received these two beautiful cards from friends I have got to know through blogging.  What a wonderful way it is to get to know each other and join with people who have similar interest to ourselves.

The first card was from Di who runs The Snippets Playground challenge on her blog Pixie's Crafty Workshop.  If you are a paper crafter it is a really fun place to join in.  The playmates can be a mad bunch but are all very friendly.  It's worth a visit.

My second card is from Sarn who has a wonderful talent for "tangling".

She does some amazing Sarnrangles and even had her own limited edition stamps which are unfortunately no longer available for sale.

Her blog is called Stamping for Pleasure  so do pop in and she her lovely work too.

I hope you all enjoy whatever you have planned for the weekend.

Sorry to hear of your sad news Barb, I hope the funeral went as well as can be expected. x
I love your tag on your card. The cut of it and the little floral element really finishes the card beautifully.
Sarn's card is amazing too. The central image is also beautiful, very striking.

Hugs Erika. x
