An Oldie for Friday

Good Afternoon Everyone!

First I'd like to give a warm welcome to Sandma who has joined me today.  Her cards are beautiful and well worth a look.

As it's Friday again I'm showing one of my old cards and linking up with Erika on her Snappy Crafts blog.

It doesn't have to be a card, anything old and crafty is fine.  Link with Erika, leave her a comment and she'll visit you too.

I  can't remember when I made this kimono card but it was certainly a long time ago.

I used a template by Wendy Stenton.  She used to be a regular on Create and Craft several years ago, both doing shows with a large variety of her own templates and also demonstrating for The Stamp Man.

I used a red swirly card, washi paper and peel offs for my card.

Have a good weekend Everyone!

Hi Barb,
what a wonderful designed card, and such pretty colours, for your Oldie this week.
The papers used are really super.
Sounds like you used to watch C&C as far back as me as Wendy Stenton is sure a blast from the past.
I used to love her demos.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Many thanks Barb for your lovely, warm welcome. I remember Wendy Stenton and I used to love visiting the Stampman when their shops were open in Skipton. Jill would always put the kettle on and be more than happy to show her amazingly wonderful inky techniques. I love the colours and the swirly effect on your card and it's always good to look back at our earlier makes. I wish you a wonderful weekend and congratulations on the broadband :) x

A lovely oriental kimono card Barb and thank you for joining me in sharing an oldie today. It is the perfect colour combo for the style of card. Do you know what the Chinese writing means?

Have a super weekend, hugs Erika. x
