Good Afternoon,
Just a quick post before I pop off to "play" for an hour before starting dinner.
Just to prove I'm sticking to my New Year's resolution and using up old stuff.
Here are a couple of the very quick cards I made yesterday.
I was using up some of a Hunkydory set which was a freebie at a craft show a few years ago. They completed my box of cards which I posted off this morning.
Thank you for your visit.

Well done Barb! These really so make me think of Spring, really pretty - and well done on sticking to using up old stuff.
I spoke to the manager at the Care Home where my step-mum lives about sending more goodies for their Tuesday card making sessions. My step-mum doesn't join in but I know that anything is welcome so it's time for me to do another blitz here. And, am sure I have a lot of 'card kits' - although (to my surprise) they are also very much into stamping etc. and all that it entails. So I can see a few of my stamps also heading there. The home is 'reet oop North' so it will be a courier job - and so often really good value as well.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow hun! Safe journeys too!
Hugs
Di xx
I bet you are glad you held on to those older supplies Barb, seeing as you ended up with some pretty cards here! I must take a leaf out of your book and dig into and use some of my older supplies (of which there is a criminally large supply!) Have a lovely evening! Hazel xx

Hi Barb,
what a brilliant resolution to use up some old stuff.
We do as crafty peeps amass lots of crafty stash that we all should be using up before buying more
I think, but we do get tempted with all the lovely new stuff about too.
Love your 2 cards and their images, and designs.
Typical and wonderful images from Hunkydory, and great when you need a quick card.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
They are gorgeous, really fresh and full of spring. What a coincidence that we should both be trying to use up Hunkydory stuff on the same day! I do love Hunkydory designs but often find it really hard to be creative with them

Just lovely Barb, they looks lovely toppers.
I'm trying to do the same, I have so much stuff and load of cards made so I am using them up too. I used to make loads of cards for challenges and have been left with them especially the cute ones which I have no one who would really appreciate them, and as I am no longer working 've lost the folk who used to commission cards, so I'm really not making many these days. If I had to add up all I've spent over the last 5 years on stash, I could have had a cruise on the Med, lol, Kate x
ards whilst I was still working and I entered loads of challenges,
Well Barb, those are two gorgeous images and your designs are fabulous.

Two beautiful cards! Well done on using up some of your old stash. As Jenny says, it's so tempting to buy new things, especially when we see them on crafty blogs! xx
These are gorgous cards Barb. I do love the quality of the Hunkydory kits and these images are lovely.
Well done on keeping to your resolution to use up the old stash xx

These are both cute and wtg on keeping your resolutions! I stopped making them years ago! LOL
di took the words right out of my mouth but these two are very spring like. Just what we need at the moment with the big freeze we are under. Hugs Mrs A.
