WOYWW - Week 332

Good Morning Deskers,

It's Wednesday again!

So,  I'm linking up with our lovely hostess Julia for another "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday".  It really is fun as we have a trip round the world to see what other crafters have on their desks today.

We have a club in our village chapel once a month and it's tonight.  I got an email from Susan who was going to do our demo tonight.  She is ill and unable to come.

As it was too late to ask anyone else to put something together.  I send the emails each month to tell everyone (12 of us) if they need to bring anything special  -well it's just a card and envelope.

Three of us are taking various stamped images, Christmas paper. punched bits and die cuts and everyone can choose their stuff to make a Christmas card.

Here's some of what I managed to do yesterday so I've got to rush off to get more done for tonight, plus make two late birthday cards.  A busy crafting day ahead for me.

It may take a couple of days for me to visit you all but I will get round to you all if I possibly can.

Happy Crafting Everyone!

Lovely card elements on your desk, Barb. Just read your bio, which says you make 60-80 cards each month - wow! I don't think I made half of that in my whole life. You must be very dedicated. Have a lovely week, zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #36

Even though it's sad that your demonstrator couldn't make it tonight, I bet you'll have a great time with the Make Do and Mend attitude! Those snowflakes are really pretty, but what really caught my eye was the stamped Christmas trees on the left of shot..I love the graphic look of them. They'd be the ones I'd buy in the shops!! I'm not a traditionalist when it comes to cards :-)
And yes, my hubby is obssessed with logs, we're going to be toasty warm this winter!!
Thanks for dropping by,
Hugs, LLJ 10 xxxx

Well done Barb, into the last minute breach! There's a lot of preparation in getting the where with all together for twelve people to make a card, am sure they will really appreciate it. Wishing Susan well too!

That's an exciting project, Barb, and it will be fun to see what all the others come up with! You will all have great fun, I am sure of that. Thank you for a wonderfully encouraging comment on my blog - I am so looking forward to Friday now - the first time I've ever looked forward to a chemo session! After this final one I shall have to go through the normal recovery period with the usual horrible side effects but at least the lower dose is helping with that, but I shall feel differently this time because it won't be the prelude to yet another treatment, but the beginning of a real recovery, and I am so upbeat and confident about the future! I am enjoying making plans, and it will be the beginning of a whole new life. I am so glad you like my studio - one day I shall do a video tour. I promised to do this when we first moved and I got it organised but it hasn't happened yet! It is such a wonderful room and I am very, very grateful to have it. I am looking forward to feeling well enough to spend a lot more time in there!

Happy WOYWW,
