Tall and skinny!

No I'm not talking about myself.  I only wish I was.

My card today is for the Mojo Monday Challenge where the theme this week is Tall and Skinny.

My card is A6 size, folded lengthways.  I embossed a strip of orange paper and then cut a strip of browny/gold paper and rounded two corners.

The two circles are cut from a pizza box and I put the smaller piece onto a soft mat and embossed on the back to make a dome shape to resemble a pizza.

The sentiments are both from an old and well loved Hero Arts cupcake set.

As  I've used snippets I'm going to take this over to Miss Di's at The Snippets Playground to join in with the playmates.

Oh this is clever use of some unusual elements to create a wonderful snippety card. Love that pizza look and the tucked in orange with the embossing. Looks very dramatic against the rounded brown shape and what a deliteful title too. (I'm also not tall & skinny anymore...only in my memories!) Cute card, great one for the Snippets' celebration. I hear that apple bobbing is lots of fun! Hope I can get over to join in the festivities. Hugs & TFS (oh yes, New England in the fall, is usually breathtaking. What a marvelous way to celebrate your Mom's 80th. Something to always remember & bet it made her feel so specially loved.)

How clever to repurpose a portion of a pizza box! This card makes me hungry for pizza right now - which is probably why I'll never be tall and skinny either! LOL

Great piece of recycling and love the layout on your tall and skinny card.

Talking of Pizza . . . I think we'll get the local takeaway to deliver a few to tonight's Playground Party. What time are you coming over, and could you bring some ginger beer please?

Hugs, Sarn xx

I'll be over early tonight. I've lost my mojo so hope I'll find it near the swings. xx

Wonderful card Barb! Great colours and I love the tall skinny design. Seems there's yet another party in the Playground, Sarn left a message elsewhere saying 'bring bangers, I have the buttered rolls already sorted out'. And now your lovely yummy pizza kicked off a takeaway or three!

Hugs

Di xx
