Friday Smile - Week 140

Happy Friday to you again everyone.  Gosh how quickly they come round.

I'm linking up with Annie's A Stitch in Time blog for Friday Smiles.

This wasn't the photo I'd planned to show but when my hubby sent down this photo of this dear little chap I knew I had to post it.

A juvenile greenfinch who had been feasting on berries.  Look at the juice all over his beak and down his throat.  Isn't he adorable.

I've had a lovely week.  Yesterday a friend brought us a cake she'd made for us - just because!  Isn't that lovely.

In the evening we went out for dinner with six friends.  We all lost children, many years ago now, and we meet regularly for a meal together.  We enjoy happy times together now.

I have a friend coming to craft this morning and tomorrow I'm off to a card making class with two other friends.

Have a lovely weekend Everyone!

Oh what a gorgeous little green finch....I've snapped a coal tit and two little blue tits this morning on my feeders. :-) I have topped up my feeders too cos they will be glad of a nut or two as it gets colder. Thanks for linking up Barb. Have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x

Hi Barb, Lovely pic!
How lovely that something so special and good has come from your group of friends who all share such a tragic loss. What special friends they must be and it's lovely you can all share good times.

Hi Barb. What a little cutie pie! I love watching the birds in my neighborhood; they are so entertaining. The ravens have taken a liking to me as I throw out special food for them.

That's so nice that you and other couples meet on a regular basis. It's a club that noone wants to be a part of but it sounds like you've turned it into a positive.

Have a wonderful weekend.

It sounds as though you are having a good week with all your friends. The little bird looks as though he has been in the wars. I'm glad it is only berry-juice! Kate x

He is lovely. Have you noticed how he appears to be looking straight at the camera. I have taken photographs of birds at a distance but they still appear to be watching me. Maybe they enjoy having their photo taken, little show offs! x
