Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Hello and thank you for your visit today.

Well I'm happy to say I have now sent off all my Christmas cards  (ll0 in total) and have just got a handful left to post in doors around the village.

It has taken me several hours each day for over a week to write them so now I'm keen to visit you all again and see what you've been making.

It's been a very busy few weeks with lots of stuff going on.  After a hearing test two weeks ago I will be getting hearing aids this year for Christmas - and I only wanted chocolate and a bottle of Baileys!!!

My card today was made several months ago when I was on a mission to use up scraps of white card.

The cherry and heart are also cut from pieces of white card and the ribbon is the tiniest piece from the end of the reel.

I'm popping over with my card to join in with Pixies Snippets Playground Weeks 309 & 310

Lovely card, Barb. I love how you've used the punched shape and the aperture of the punched shape. I've written about half of the 100+ cards I need this year, but fortunately most of them will be hand delivered. xx

The punched aperture showcases the cupcake perfectly, wonderful use of white snippets.

Really lovely card, super use of the dies and a great cupcake.
Well I really hope you get your chocolate and Bailey's too, made me laugh.
Making the cards is the easy bit, writing them is a real pain, sometimes I feel like just putting inside...
Guess Who, much easier and quicker.

What a cute pink card, and I love how you used the negative and positive from the die cut on the same card!

A fantastic birthday card Barb. I have to say that making Christmas card is great writing them all out is something completely different and I can understand the wanting Chocolate and baileys for Christmas, especially given the alternative.

Well done you, that's quite an achievement. My cards are still in a box. This scalloped circle is perfect with the cup cake and the cherry is very cute. Have you tried chocolate baileys? I recommend. X

Beautiful card Barb - so pretty and a lovely design as well. I finished writing all our cards too and what a relief! Len says why don't I do them as I make them throughout the year - sigh, he just doesn't understand :)

I do love a good cupcake and this is a fab one, in fact I have that same die. Well done on the cards, I don't have nearly as many and I seem to put off writing them later and later each year!

What a fabulous card, like how you used the positive and negative of the die cut! I just got back from a vacation at Zion National Park and a side trip to Bryce Canyon so slowly catching up with blogs!

What a great design, Barb--very pretty, too! Haven't had Bailey's in years--think I'll ask for a bottle!

I love your sweet cupcake Barb and what a lot of cards to put in the post. I'm afraid mine are all last minute as usual and a paltry few in comparison to yours. Sorry you have to have hearing aids but hope that they do the trick for you. x
