A Quickie!

Hello and Welcome

Here's a very quick card I made as I've not had a lot of time for crafting over the past week or two.

I began by stencilling the background with Distress ink through sequin waste.

The Flower and leaves are from an Artemio set which I stamped with Archival ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I coloured with pencils and fussy cut the flower and leaves.  I added a little gold gel pen to the flower and scribbled a border round the card.

I would like to join in the challenge at

  5. Great background and the scribbled border shows up the flower nicely and 'finishes off' the whole card. Had to smile at a recent comment from you - yes I'm still being tempted by the magazine section in the supermarket and/or newsagent.

  25. I think I should challenge myself to make quick cards sometimes. I can spend a stupidly long time on some of them! Your background is very pretty and sets of your flower. It's an usual dark colour but looks sparkly and special.
