Wedding Card

Hello and Welcome

This is a very quick post as we're off to Norwich shortly for a family wedding which is tomorrow.

Life has been so hectic since my recent blog break so I'd like to apologise to those I may not have visited much since my return.  I will get there.

I have enjoyed joining in with Erika at her Snappy Crafts blog each Friday with an oldie although I've been absent for a few weeks now.

So -  I hope this might just qualify as an oldie.  It's the card we sent to the happy couple earlier this week..  A very different type of card from my normal style.

It was made about 18 months ago at a Loobi Crafts workshop and I have been hanging on to it since Sophie and Gary got engaged.

I used the de-bossed side of the embossing folder and carefully wiped Erika's favourite sparkle paste over it which fills in the indentations.  It is a technique used by Sue Wilson.  I also used Sue's dies for this card.  The sentiment may seem a bit strange for a wedding card but I thought it really appropriate for the couple it was sent to.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.  It sounds as if we're in for a lovely few days in most of the UK.

What a beautiful card Barb. Thanks for popping over to my blog today. Mum has had a shower unit for the last 10 years and now suddenly since her stroke she is wanting to start having a bath. A real worry as I am sure she will be unable to get in and out of a bath and a bath "belt" would not be suitable.

Have a lovely weekend. We are getting ready for the village show ;) xx

This is gorgeous Barb and WOW is so elegant, especially for a wedding card. I don't know which one of Sue Wilson's dies this is but it is extremely pretty, and I love the accompanying flowers, which I do have myself but don't use them nearly enough as they go beautifully here, and I love the pearl and ribbon embellishments. Have a lovely time at the wedding. x

Hi Barb and thanks for joining me sharing an oldie today. What a beautiful wedding card, lots of lovely dies and I like the sound of using the glitter sparkle in embossing folders, I've used inks and stamps before but not glitter.
Have a super weekend,

hugs Erika. x

I embossed the card first Erik then scraped it across the card. Sorry unclear details. I wouldn't want you to cover your EF with paste 🙄 xx
