Vase and Butterflies

Since my blog break I've been busy catching up with visits.

Life seems to be rather hectic at the moment and I've had to cut down on time spent posting and entering challenges but I've just managed to get this card finished for Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge #60
V is for Vase/Vanilla.

During my recent craft sort out I found some card's with cut outs for iris folding and this one just fitted the job.

I didn't have a pattern for the iris folding but think it works quite well.  After finishing the card something seemed to be missing so I punched out a couple of flowers and stuck them onto the vase - job done.

As I used a small amount of my paper strips for the vase and butterflies and scraps of white card for the flower I would also like to join in with the playmates at Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 243

  1. I love your clever iris folding Barb and the pretty butterflies and flowers on the vase. Very imaginative of you to make up your own pattern which works beautifully. The mix of colours is perfect too. x

  36. I think with your fabulous folding and the lines in the vase that this has a very oriental feel to it. Very nice!
