I had a Ball

I hope you're enjoying your day.

I had a ball on Friday evening when I went to a card making class with some friend.

Louise's first love is scrap booking but she has a card class once a month and I always love the cards we make when I'm able to go along.

This is one of the cards we made on Friday.  All the stamps used are by  Clearly Besotted.

Some of the girls chose to stick their parchment on top then cover it with bakers twine.  I decided to stitch mine on when I got home although I think perhaps I should have used white thread instead of orange ... oh well!

We made two other cards and stamped three toppers which I made into cards at home - to be posted at a later date.

Thank you for your visit.

  2. Barb, I like how you've stitched the parchment over the images, the sentiment is perfect for the theme too. There is nothing better than getting together with some crafting buddies to make cards.

    Hugs Erika. x

  4. Cute card and I like the way you stitched the layers together. I love getting together with friends to make cards. Our craft group of six gals will be doing a weekend getaway in 4 days and we're all hopelessly addicted crafters so it will be lots of fun. ta ta for now, Kathy

  6. A fun card, Barb. It always fun to craft with friends, although we're usually so busy chatting we don't always get a lot done!! xx

  7. This is so sweet Barb - love how the vellum has softened the background. Nothing wrong with orange...adds to the fun feel of the card!
