Twofer Card Challenge #3

Hello and thank you for your visit today.

I made my cards with a Joy stamp that hasn't been used before.

For the Easter card I stamped with black Archival ink and heat embossed with clear powder.  I coloured the flowers with distress inks.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn coloured with wink of Stella and cut up.

The other card was inked in black onto a Brusho background and coloured with Brushos too.  I fussy cut two extra flower heads, used foam pads under one and stuck the second on loosely.   The sentiment is a wooden stamp bought at a table top sale last week.

I would like to join in at the Twofer Card Challenge #3

Love the way you've approached the 2fer! This lovely daffodil flower looks quite different in each card, and the brusho coloring is wonderful. I love the dimension of the extra blossoms popped up and what a cheery get well card this is! TFS & Hugs

These are so cheerful, just what we need as we are promised more snow or maybe you have it already. I thought spring was on the way. That is a really good idea to pop up the daffodil heads.
Thanks for all your lovely comments on my efforts. x

Two distinctly different looks for the same flower and I love them both. I can't believe the change in the weather. Yesterday I was out in the garden digging over the borders in lovely sunshine and today the same borders are covered in snow. Needless to say I am indoors!!
Hugs Mrs A.

Beautiful daffodils, Barb! They are perfect for celebrating Easter, and I love how you cut up the LF die for your sentiment. Your Brusho background is so fun and vibrant behind the flowers of your get well card. I love the added dimension you gave the flowers. Lovely to see these spring time daffodils, Barb! Wonderful colouring on both of them ... and such contrasting backgrounds ... one soft and delicate, the other bold and vibrant. The additional dimension on the flowers on the second one is sweetly complemented by the delicate ribbon! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
