Club Demo

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today.

Last week I did the demo at our village club.  I collected the key and put out the chairs and tables  before anyone arrived.

As I had about 20 minutes before anyone came I decided to take photos  so here is my table set up ready.

I was demonstrating the whitewash technique.

We didn't make a card.  I decided to just concentrate on the technique so had already cut the kraft card to size and pre stamped and embossed this Woodware stamp using my Misti then embossed with white embossing powder.

I thought it would be a good idea to also prepare a single blossom for the girls to have a practise before tackling the big flower,

I made two card up myself  just as ideas for making their work up into finished cards.  The leaves were roughly cut from the waste after cutting out the bloom and inked with distressed ink.

We had a good evening together and look forward to Wendy's demo in two weeks time.

They are both beautiful. We're making crochet squares up at the craft club I belong to in the village next Tuesday. Haven't done any in years so need to brush up on my skills otherwise the blanket they intend to make will have more holes than squares in it! Hugs Mrs A.
