Snippets Ahoy!

Hello Everybody and thank you for all your lovely comments when I took my blog break.

I've been away longer than I'd planned but as often happens once I got through one thing something else cropped up.

Anyway - I was determined to join in with the last Pixies Snippets  Playground (260 & 261) of the year.

I decided to download photos of cards from my camera today only to discover I had deleted all but two by mistake.   All cards have been sent out so I have no record so today I'm blogging a card made several weeks ago.

It's made with a Sizzix nautical set, Sizzix Bright Bubbles die, some rainbow card and a number of snippets of card.

So sorry that I've not been visiting too often but hope to catch up over the next few days.

It's lovely to see you back and I hope your life has calmed down a little, maybe a vain hope in December. What a fun cheerful card!

Welcome back, Barb! So good to see you back again. I must admit I was starting to worry so I'm glad all is okay! It sounds like your break went well but it's a shame that you deleted your photos. I'm glad this one survived as it is very adorable and cute! Makes me think of warmer weather - it's so cold here now! Love the dies you used! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Lovely to see you back, and with a lovely card. I love the effect you've got by using the rainbow card behind the bubble die cuts, it reminds me of the shimmering rainbows you see when blowing bubbles

Hi Barb, great to have you back. Loving that bubble die, it's been on my wish list for a while and seeing what you've done with it only makes me want it more. I really DON'T need anymore craft supplies! My room is bursting.

I love the theme of this card and the beautiful colour combo.

Hugs Erika. x

Wonderful card Barb - lovely scene and I do love the bright colours. Also a nice change from Christmas cards. A blow about deleting your photos - but here's a thought to ask Bruce about. Have you tried Piriform Recuva Software on the SD card? https://www.piriform.com/recuva

It's free. downloadable in a trice and safe to use, Len recovered a friend's African Safari Holiday photos for her a while ago and we've both used it before and since for 'deleted' files and images. Both on laptops/PCs and also SD cards etc. So long as you haven't reformatted then the files will actually still be there - albeit not indexed/showing on the FAT table and equivalent. Recuva digs down and literally recovers and reinstalls them. Certainly worth a try!

Hugs

Di xx
