September - Rudolph Day

Good Morning Everybody.  I hope you're having a good weekend.

Yesterday I went out crafting with friends and it's a quiet day for me today.

Here's my card for the September Rudolph Day Challenge  at Scrappy Mo's Scraps of Life blog.  Every month from 25th to the end of the month  Mo invites us to share a Christmas card.  Mo generously offers a lovely prize to the lucky winner.

As time's getting on I decided to batch make some Christmas cards last week.  Here is one using a Sizzix stamp and matching embossing folder.

I bought the set in their sale a year or two ago and this is the first time it's been used.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Wow, Barb, that is one clever card, I love it, very imaginitive, but suspect it might be more labour intensive than it looks. Well done, didn't know you could get stamp and embossing folder set!!!

Hi Barb,
what a very lovely design all the lovely stamping and embossing is great.
Very pretty ribbon finishes it off nicely.

Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge with this.

I don't think I've ever seen a stamp/embossing folder combo instead of the more usual stamp/die one - this looks great. I'll keep an eye open for them in future

What a great set you got, Barb! I wonder why that idea didn't really take off as I love the look! I have one from HA & you've reminded me I need to use it! Beautiful card & I think you could even leave off the sentiment for a quicker version! Gonna see what I can use for this idea--thanks for the inspiration!
