Playing with Friends!

Hello and I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Yesterday I went to a workshop with some friends.  We really enjoyed meeting up with others.

I thought you might like to see one of the three cards we made.

I've not come across this type of card before and it was fun to make although I'm not the best at lining up border punches and there were four layers to punch out on this one.

I always find it easier to stand to punch borders.

Here's how the finished card stands up

  1. What an unusual and very pretty card shape. I love the way it stands but still has the "wings". Gorgeous

  9. Beautiful way to use the border punches! I have several that I never use now that I have dies as I always seem to have trouble lining them up. Maybe I'll try again after seeing this as I really do love the look & some of my punches are beautiful designs. Thanks for the inspiration, Barb!

  19. This is a fold technique new to me and love the way you've done the punched borders. Look very perfect to me. I'm not great at doing this either...and I have the one I think you've used here. It looks like beautiful lace trim. Cute image, and nice to be able to enjoy your workshop efforts along with you. TFS & Hugs.
