Baby Rabbit

Thank you for visiting today.  I hope you've enjoyed your weekend.

I was recently lucky enough to win a  Joanna Sheen voucher in Kath's candy giveaway.

I placed my order on Thursday and on Friday morning it arrived.  I was keen to play with my new goodies so made this baby girl card with my new lace border  and Easter Rabbit dies.

Now I couldn't wait a year to use that cute bunny could I.

The background is the de-bossed side of a Cuttlebug embossing folder which I rubbed over with Victorian Velvet Distress ink.

I used lots of snippets for this card so am popping it over to Pixies Snippets Playground Week 223.
I would also like to enter it into the challenge  at 613 Avenue#170 where Anything goes.  I don't know if it will qualify for the extra twist which  is A Whiter Shade of Pale.

Very clever to use the 'wrong' side of the embossing, it gives an unusual look (but good!). It is a cute bunny and I do like that font.

Gosh this is a cute card. I wouldn't be able to wait a whole year either to use that bunny ☺ You made a fabulous card. Thank you for always popping over and visiting my blog, I am so glad you mentioned where you live I had often wondered. So the picture on your side bar that says Craft cabin. Is that where you do all your paper crafting? Thanks for being a blog friend. You made another fabulous card.

Such a cute card. Lucky you to win a J.Sheen voucher. Hers is one of my favourite sites. I have just bought that pretty lace trim but I haven't used it yet. I just scrolled down a few posts and the card that really caught my eye was the big purple flower in Thursday's post. I love the image and your colouring.
Thank you for visiting my Friday blog. I am only just getting around to visit everyone. My weekends just seem to melt away! Kate x

Great card for the Snippets challenge; that bunny is so cute and I like the clever use of the debossed embossing folder which looks like a die cut background in the picture.

This is lovely Barb and it's a great idea to use the Rabbit die for something other than Easter cards. I always love the way that you think out of the box. Thank you for the very kind comment that you left on my last blog post X X

Oh Barb, this really is lovely! I can see why you had to use the bunny right away - perfect for baby cards as well as Easter! As Sandma says, you really are so good at thinking outside of the box (or sandpit).

Great to see you in the Playground!

Hmm... my comment vanished mid-type. Very sweet card and I can see why you didn't want to wait a whole year to use that sweet bunny. I really like that lacey die cut border. I just ran across some real lace that is similar to that and plan to use it someday.
