SU Owl

Good afternoon and thank you for your visit.

My card today is very similar to the one I posted yesterday using the same papers.

Yesterday's card was my prototype and just really evolved as I was mainly interested in making a card with a different fold

Today I gave it a little more thought and I think I prefer this version with the owl sitting on the branches.  They were made with the SU bird punch.

As the paper was quite flimsy I stuck it to pieces of white card before punching out.

I would like to enter my card into the challenge at Crafty Cardmakers #156 where the theme this time is punches and dies

Happy Crafting Everyone!

Another lovely owl card. I think I prefer the colours on this one and the owl stands out more stood on the branches. xx

Oh I love this owl card too and yes I think it looks good with the owl sitting on the branches. A very simple but so clever folding this is.

I like this one as much as the one you made yesterday, but I like the owl perched on his branches - too cute!

Well both cards are lovely Barb . . . but "grounding" the owl works better in my humble opinion. xxx

Gorgeous card! I like the paper-pieced owl! It's fun to make different folds - I need to experiment with folds a bit more!
