Smile on Friday

Happy Friday to you all.

I had expected to post this last Friday as I spent a few days away with my best friend during which we went on the Coronation Street studio tour.  You can see by the number of people that it was very popular.

For those outside the UK who have not heard about "Corrie" it's a soap which has been running here for about 50 years now.  I remember watching the first episode - as a child !!!!!!

We had a great few days away but unfortunately as soon as I got home I went down with one of those miserable virus's that knocks you for six.  I didn't open my laptop for days and didn't feel much like smiling when last Friday came around.

Anyway I'm fine again now and having a good week with much to smile about.  I've crafted with friends,  looked after our neighbour's dear little puppy Peggy and tomorrow I'm going to the demo day at Coleman's Craft Warehouse.

I'm linking up with Annie's A Stitch in Time blog where we Share a Smile each Friday.  It's a happy place to visit.

Hope you are all having a good day and wish you a happy week to come.

I'm afraid I only watch Corry when my mum stays with me but I know it has a huge following. I hope you enjoyed yourself, shame about being ill when you got back but I'm glad to hear you are on the mend.
Enjoy your crafty day and puppy sitting, it sounds as if you will have a busy weekend?

Hugs Erika. x

We used to have Cronation street in Holland when I was young. They showed only one episode a week! But I remember Ena Sharples and her friend Minnie. And Ken Barlow of course. I have not followed it since. But I have visited the studios some years ago now and had my photo taken at the Rover's Return.
I'm sure you ahve had a super day at the studio.
I'm glad you have got over the virus and are feeling befter now.
Thanks for sharing. It brought back good memories.

Oh that must have been so fun! I used to watch Coronation Street all the time! I watched it for years but then finally gave it up. We don't have TV now. What a fun tour that must have been! Sorry you were so sick but I'm glad you're feeling much better!

I know what you are on about but I only got to watch Corrie when I lived with MIL for a short while. I actually spent a few weeks not far from the set and had to go past it every day on business. Never got chance to go and see it though.
Happy Friday.
