Rudolph Day - January 2018

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog.

On 25th until the end of each month (except December) Maureen holds her Rudolph Day Challenge where she invites us to show either a Christmas card or project.  She very kindly offers a lovely gift to the lucky winner.

I made this little tree ornament using Stampin' Up stamps at a class just before Christmas.  I stamped a Christmas sentiment on the back.

We chose the stamps we wanted to use then stamped onto the slices of wood.  It was great fun and we enjoyed the morning together.

Everybody did something different.

I'd like to enter my Rudolph ornament into
the Rudolph Day Challenge - January 2018

Hi Barb,
Happy rudolf Days.
Your ornament is excellent and so beautifully created.
Love the wonderful stamped images.
I should imagine that it is not easy to stamp onto wood as I have never tried it.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Absolutely gorgeous Barb, love the stamps you have chosen and using the natural wood slice like that is so much nicer than MDF. Definitely an ornament to treasure :)

What special and wonderful effects you have achieved on wood stamping. At first I thought you'd used the Hero Arts Infinity circles die to emboss, and then stamp. Love the reindeer, the stylized trees, and adding in the foliage with the bright berries and Rudy's dimensional nose....nice pops of color. Love his antlers! How much you will enjoy this on your 2018 Christmas tree. TFS & Hugs
