Hello and Welcome
Here's a very quick card I made as I've not had a lot of time for crafting over the past week or two.
I began by stencilling the background with Distress ink through sequin waste.
The Flower and leaves are from an Artemio set which I stamped with Archival ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I coloured with pencils and fussy cut the flower and leaves. I added a little gold gel pen to the flower and scribbled a border round the card.
I would like to join in the challenge at

Great background and the scribbled border shows up the flower nicely and 'finishes off' the whole card. Had to smile at a recent comment from you - yes I'm still being tempted by the magazine section in the supermarket and/or newsagent.
Beautiful stenciled background, love its shadow look and the stunning flower!
Gorgeous flower and a lovely card.

I think I should challenge myself to make quick cards sometimes. I can spend a stupidly long time on some of them! Your background is very pretty and sets of your flower. It's an usual dark colour but looks sparkly and special.
This is a beautiful card Barb.

How sweet! I like the scribbled border. I must remember to do that more.
Hello There
There was originally a page on Crafter's Companion giving details of plates to use with the 3d folders but it seems to have disappeared. In the Gemini you use the normal base plate and the thinner plate with folder and paper in between (this is leaving out the thicker main cutting plate - for cutting the three plates are used). This should work with the E-bosser I think because there is a thin plate there if I remember rightly. Big Shot plus should work with this same thin plate and the normal embossing platform set up. Don't know about Cuttlebug because I've never used one but maybe a plate, folder and some card used as shim to get the height needed, leaving out the cutting plate. Hope this makes sense - couldn't fine an email for you to send a detailed reply.
This is a gorgeous card Barb! huggles Sue xx

Very creative--love the use of the gold gel pen & your doodled frame is amazing, Barb! PS--cannot imagine a skunk running through the house! I about lost it when I saw that one in the yard about 20 ft from the sliding glass doors--haha!
You have been so busy since I was last here and what gorgeous results. Happy crafting, Angela xXx
Love this. The background, your border drawn by hand... love this look you've achieved, Barb.
