Under the Weather!

As this is my first post of 2017  I'd like to take the opportunity to wish everybody a very happy and healthy New Year with lots of crafty fun.

There seem to be so many bugs around at the moment.   If  YOU are under the weather  I do hope that you will soon be feeling well again.

I made this card using the stamp set that came with my Creative Stamping magazine a couple of days ago.

I did some masking, a bit of colouring and paper piecing for the umbrella, coat and wellies.

I used my MISTI to stamp the raindrops and both sentiments.  "Sending Hugs" is from a Hero Arts stamp set.

I'm popping over with my card  to Pixies Snippets Playground - Week 262

Ooops! have you noticed the mistake!!!!  I'll give you a clue - it's a masking mistake .........

Great card to cheer up someone who's not feeling so good - just when I told myself I'd not buy any more crafty magazines!! It took me ages to spot the 'deliberate' mistake so I'm sure no-one would spot it especially if they don't make cards themselves.

Cute image lovely card. The umbrella would come in handy here as we have been having rain making it humid and yuk I don't like humidity.

Great card Barb and fabulous paper piecing! I think I spotted the 'glitch' - but am not saying and it's really minor anyhow!

Happy New Year!

I had to look and look and look to find your mistake. It isn't noticeable unless one goes looking for it. It's quite the cute card and before for the weather we've been having (and the resulting bugs that will come along with it).

I had to search very hard to find your mistake Barb and it certainly is a very tiny error on quite a complicated piece of paper piecing. What a cute image and I love the soft colour papers and the two sentiments work perfectly. Happy New Year to you. x
