Rudolph Day - 2017

Hello Everyone!

I borrowed this Cardio Christmas tree stamp from my friend Jacky.

Whilst sorting out my peel off  boxes I found several packets of these holographic dots in various colours and thought they'd be perfect for batch making.

I  stamped a dozen trees and took them, with the peel offs, to the village craft club on Monday and made the toppers in two colourways.

The colours of the large dots are pink and blue although the holographic hasn't photographed too well and the small ones are silver glitter and blue.

The other batch I made in traditional colours - red, green and gold.

I'd like to join in with Mo's Rudolph Day challenge where Maureen invites us to show Christmas cards in her challenge from the 25th until the end of each month.

Ooooh, that's fabulous Barb! Love the dots you used and the stamp is similar to (but not the same as) a favourite one of mine by Woodware called Funky Christmas Tree :)

Super card, Barb, great idea for using up some of your holographic circle peeloffs. I've got quite a few sheets of these which I've had for ages - thanks for the inspiration. xx

A great vard, Barb. The peel off dots would solve the thickness problem that bumps up the cost of mailing. Especially on overseas cards.
This is a lovely card and I bet the other colours of the dos look fab too.

Thanks for taking part in the January Rudolph Days Challenge.

Super fun card, Barb--the dots are perfect! I never use my peel offs, but maybe now I will!

What a lovely idea for simple but stunning cards, and a great way to use up old stickers too.
Going back to knitting needle sizes, 2mm is the old size 14 - very, very thin! I used to use double knitting mostly for hand knitting and 4 ply for machine knitting
