WOYWW #359

Happy Wednesday and today I'm pleased to be able to link up again  with the Stamping Ground blog where Julia  asks "What's on Your Desk Wednesday?"

Link to Julia's blog and then the fun comes visiting others' desks around the world and seeing what they are doing.

This is my desk today as it was left yesterday evening when I finished crafting.

I was playing with a couple of Stampendous  metal stencils which I bought recently.

I drew round the bird using one stencil then moved the other around on top of the bird and drew flowers where I wanted them.

My Inktense  water colour pencils are on my desk and there is as usual lots of clutter too.

Happy Crafting Everybody!

Interesting to see the desks of other crafters. My actual working space seems to shrink every time I do anything so that I end up working on a really tiny area surrounded by clutter. A constant battle to keep it tidy!!

Enjoyed seeing your desk...still looks pretty tidy to me. Love what you're showing with the stenciled bird. This is going to be a really unique & so pretty element on your card. Never thought of what you've done with the stencil, but it works so well for a special look. TFS

Very clever, look foward to the end result. Your desk looks as 'busy' as mine. Hee hee.

I notice your stencils. I have a lot of those kind, before we started getting plastic ones for mixed media and such. Now, down't really know how to use those. Especially now that we have embossing folders. Love your little birdie. Than you for your earlier visit. I appreciate it. #54

What a pretty bird and the card is coming out nicely too. You don't see metal stencils used like that much anymore. Cool for you! PJ #61

Lovely, Barb. I haven't seen metal stencils for quite a while. I love the little bird, and your colours are gorgeous.

Thank you for your encouraging comment - I am sure I will master it in the end. My hubby says he's only got red humbrol paint, which isn't a lot of use to me since I'm painting on a red background lol! I've got one more paint avenue to try before I start trawling Ebay for humbrols.

I like the metal stencils - I find the metal ones are much easier for spreading texture paste through but are harder to find as most stencils are plastic. I shall have to keep my eyes open for Stampendous! I like the pretty card in the background, looks like you have a lot on the go! Thanks for the visit to mine earlier, I hope you have a great week,

Hi Barb,
Have you tried that Bo Bunny glitter paste with your stencils? I haven't ... yet, but it's on my shopping list. Do you like your Inktense pencils? My husband gave me the biggest set (in the wooden box!) for my birthday last year. They take up a lot of room on a desk! Thanks for dropping by earlier. Much appreciated.
