Robbie Robot

Something a little different from me today.

On Sunday I went to Dabble Day at Loobi Craft in Leighton Buzzard with two friends.  It's always a lot of fun although we do have to work hard to get everything finished.  We had lunch and they made us eat lots of cake in the breaks!

We left with five makes and this was one of them.  We used a Woodware set of stamps which included the sentiments as well as the robot.

The background was silver miri card which was embossed then distressed with a pewter Distress Stain by Ranger.

As the head, arms and legs were attached with little brads and only the body was attached to the background with foam tape he is moveable so would be a fun card for a child.

If you click on the picture of Robbie and then scroll up and down quickly with the mouse wheel you'll see him moving.

I would like to enter my card into Crafty Friends Challenge blog Week 29 where the theme is "For a Child"

Sounds like you have been having a lovely crafty time over the last few days. I have only been to Ally Pally once .. .. and it has been earmarked as my favourite craft exhibition so far! So many great demonstrations and a lovely atmosphere.
