Another Way!

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a good weekend.

My card today is very similar to my last post.  Both backgrounds were done at the same time.

As I had none of the Paper Artsy flowers left I used some old stamps from a set by Glenda Waterman.

The colours on this card are much brighter than on the previous one and I decided to use a white card instead of kraft card this time.

I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to parts of all the flowers.

As the blue flower looks a bit "in your face"  I think I may add buttons to the centres of the two yellow flowers before I call it finished and that blue flower certainly needs another leaf.  The sentiment is from a Paper Arts set and is distressed, not badly stamped this time.

I'm off the my Cross stitch circle this afternoon.  Enjoy the rest of your day.

Another great floral card - I might well have these stamps ... somewhere. These floral cards are both 'happy' ones I think.

In my opinion this card is just perfect as it is!! LOVE the blu flower that chatches my eyes! Its button has the some colour of the horizontal distressed stripe of paper, so my eyes go from the center to the bottom and then come up on the two side and meet the yellow flowers ...and then the blu flower... so the circle look starts again :D
Very well done!

I see both versions of your card and both are nice. This one is more orderly than the quirky ones from yesterday but both rock.

Those backgrounds are wonderful & I like this card, too, Barb! How fun to get together & cross stitch--I need a group so I can finish my project started nearly 20 years ago!

Lovely flowers and not too 'in your face'. Love the background too.

This one is really pretty too. I do like the lighter background, but the other looked very vintage...I'm liking the way it looks like you've overlaid another 'petal' in the blue flower...these are some very lovely images. On the series, I do watch the Midwives and Mr. Selfridge. Not liking this series as much as in the past, however, but it's still good. I'm missing Sister Evangelina in Midwife, but I like the older nurse lady. If our PBS shows these series, that's usually where I get to watch it first. I was so pleased when Acorn started having so many of the finer Brit series. Love it. Seldom watch regular television. Not worth the waste of time in most cases. I don't like reality shows either!! Hugs

I love this card, Barb. So glad I'm not the only one who goes back to cards and changes/adds more to them!
