Happy Friday!
So it's time to share an old craft project again when we're invited to link up with Erika on her Snappy Crafts blog.
This card was made using brass stencils and my little light box years before we had die cutting machines.
I used to use my lightbox regularly to dry emboss then rubbed ink with a dauber onto the raised area.
The credit card was stamped using a Stazon ink pad using a stamp from a set of CD stamps that were very popular and the background stamp is on a cube rubber stamp that I bought from Stamp Addicts.
Whatever your plans I hope you enjoy the weekend.

Hello Bard, fabulous Oldie and what a brilliant girlie card, super design and colours. I remember back in the day when I could wear heels like that, now I even fall off flaties, Kate x
So chic! Fab idea and love how it has came out
Lovely girly card.
Hi Barb,
oh what a very lovely Oldie today.
Great design as always.
That was no mean feat using a light box as I remember it was quite difficult to use them.
I still have my light box lurking in a drawer in my craft room.
I so love that you remind me of all the craft things from days gone by.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Lovely card, how easy we have it now with embossing folders etc. The little credit card is a fab touch. Cara x

Great card! I still hang onto my lightbox and brass stencils too. I keep thinking someone will come up with a clever new use for them the minute I dispose of them or give them away! lol
Very nice card! I remember those brass stencils.
I finally got rid of most of mine when I moved last year. Just kept the ones I really loved!
I never did get a light box. Fun card--such a pretty shoe!
Great oldie, Barb! Love that shoe, very girlie. I´m off for a day of crafting in an event here in my home town, we are about 80-90 crafters today. We will enjoy workshops, challenges and sharing our projects. There will also be some shopping :)
Have a lovely day!
Hugs, Lisa
A blast from the past and good to be reminded of what little we had available to us for making cards a few years ago. I still have similar items lurking somewhere.
Brilliant card Barb....love the shoe image and colours together....Joolsx

I think I still have my light box somewhere, had forgotten about it till I saw this gorgeous card. A fabulous girly card and great 'Oldie' too.

Oh gosh I had a light box, a huge thing it was, used it all the time. Don't know where on earth that went. Card making is so much easier now.
I love your shoe card and thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I really appreciate you joining me sharing an oldie this weekend, have a good one.
Hugs Erika. x
Hi Barb that brings back memories, I still have a light box but don't tend to use it now. Things certainly have moved on. Have a great weekend and happy crafting, Angela x
It's a fab card! So lovely and girly. I still have my light box, there must still be a use for it, I am hanging on to it! xxxx
I never got results near this good with a light box! Love that shoe and the credit card! ;>)
Always enjoy seeing the brass stencils used, and this one is fab. Love the stylish shoe, and especially the colors you've used. What a perfect embellie with the credit card, and the background papers look just retro enough for this shoe! TFS & Happy wkend. (and yes I have one of those light boxes too- somewhere!)
Forgot to say, you can use those brass stencils in your Plus, just need to get the proper sandwich.
This is such a fun card...love it!
What a great card Barb, and it certainly hasn't dated.
You don't see brass stencils these days, but I have lots which I haven't used in years. I should give them a try and run them through my Cuttlebug, although I do still have my light box. How times and trends have changed.

Great feminine card used to love wearing high heels
Stenciling! I remember that. I tried so hard to get into it and make lovely things like others did. I just couldn't duplicate the efforts. This is great though, nice and girly.
This card has style, Barb.
Really lovely...
