WOYWW - Week 349

Happy Wednesday Deskers,

This is my desk today.  I'm working on a particular project and have done lots of messy crafting trying to get the effect I wanted for the shield.

I thought about silver then settled on gold.  I've not worked with digi images before and am rapidly running out of  the ones my hubby printed out for me.

I would have liked to use acetate and gilding flakes but as I don't have a whole sheet of acetate to go through the printer have finally decided on a gold Krylon pen which seems to be working alright.  Now just to sort out the raised dots.

I'm linking up with the Stamping Ground where our hostess Julia invites us all to show what is on our desks on Wednesday then whizz around the globe snooping at others  work desks.  It really is a lot of fun.

A couple of weeks ago when I showed my desk I was making some ATCs.  So thought you might like to see them finished.

Have a good week Everyone!

That looks an interesting project, Barb. I like the look of the palette with the gold and silver stuff. Your ATCs are lovely! Really pretty.

Thank you for your lovely comment. Glad you like my tea page. I'm sure your x-stitch group is just as nattery as my KnitterNatter group lol! Looking forward to tomorrow's meeting and will have to sort out something to take along.

Happy WOYWW,

OH you have lots going on here. Good luck with the Krylon pen. I've seen some beautiful looks with that product, but I can never get a nice thin line with it (the Pentel gold Slicci pen is working better for me). Also my Krylons seems to dry up too fast. This gold look is intriguing, can't wait to see it finished. And loving your Flower ATC's too. Your desk is pretty tidy for all the crafting you've got underway. TFS

Fun ATCs! It seems like a number of us are fussing with them this week. Those krylon pens are hit and miss but you are master of it. Thanks for the visit earlier and yes those very clean stamps are the collage ones I admire but never use.

Lovely ATC's I would say they look earthy and organic, but that would be a bad pun! Your desk looks very interesting, looking forward to seeing the finished result. Cara x

I can't get over how clean and well cared for your Pearl Ex pallette is. Mine is used in workshops admittedly, but wow! The Krylon certainly IS working well, there's really nothing like it is there!

Pretty ATCs. A tip for using partial sheets of acetate... print out on regular paper, then tape your partial sheet of acetate over the image you printed. Adhere it with painter's tape and make sure the edges are taped down good. Good luck! Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #42
