I'm really excited to be able to tell you that today's card is my entry as a Guest on the Design Team at Delicious Doodles.
This my first time DT and also the first time I've ever used a digi stamp. This one is called Dragon Shield and is one of the large range available from Delicious Doodles.
As the challenge was to use green I used as much as I could manage.
The background panel is rainbow card which was embossed then rubbed over with Inca Gold. For the background, right, I rubbed through a stencil on a piece of linen card although unfortunately the texture doesn't show well in the photo.
I printed out the dragon three times so that I was able to decoupage him. I tried several ways of getting a good golden shield and finally settled on a Krylon pen and I did rised dots on the edge of the shield and coloured over the top when they were dry.
I put a little glossy accents on his eyes and coloured four silver brads gold gor the corners of the topper. The wire mesh behind the image is something I picked up somewhere years ago. It's the first time I've ever used it but I have a large sheet and will be using it again.

Congratulations on your guest DT spot! I think you've made a stunning card for the team, love the decoupage of the dragon. I did have a tiny giggle at the auto correct typo, wire mess rather than mesh though, I would have been in a right mess trying to stick that down without getting everything covered in glue! Congratulations, Barb! This is super great and well deserved. Your card is fabulous and I especially like the embossed panel with the Inka Gold, it looks like dragon skin... not that I have seen dragon skin, but how I would imagine it...lol...awesome!!!

Oh, wow wow!!! Fabulous work! Your rainbow background is really fantastic!!! Love, love it! Great textures on it, it remember really the dragon skin and look amazing with the gold bubbles and linen! Your decoupaged dragon is just amazing and the shield has a stunning look with the golden dots!

So many parts to this card to admire. I really like the way the dragon's eyes pop! That gold shield is way cool too. Love the texture and the mesh. Everything is great about this.
