A Flush of Pink!

Thank you for visiting today.

The card I am showing was made with a little Die-Sire die set.

Although there is a stem die for the flower I decided to draw a line with a black pen before embossing the punched oval with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

I put a blush of colour onto the flower and leaves while they were still in the die  then a little round the central oval and edge of the card .

I added the sentiment the three gems and rounded the top right hand corner to complete the card.  It was very quick to make.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
Allsorts Challenge blog - #349 "Clean and Simple"
The Snippets Playground - Week 125

Happy Crafting Everyone!

Love that absolutely perfectly straight tulip stem! It added a nice touch of 'hand work' to this pretty tulip, and the blossom looks so soft with the way you've added the faint touches of pink around the edges. The scalloped & embossed oval was the perfect mat to show this tulip to advantage, and I liked the arrangement of the trio of rhinestones. TFS & have a great week.

Barb I love the CAS style of this card with a touch of colour, very spring like. Oh when will Spring be here!
Thanks for reminding me about the new series of Vera, I've caught up whilst crocheting. (there are loads of other things I should really be doing instead!) It always reminds me of home, my neck of the woods or near. I don't very often get homesick having been away for over 25 years but the show always makes me want to go for a visit.

Happy crafting, hugs Erika. x
