Friday Smiles

Morning to you all.

This is Jim.  He's the Boxer puppy at the pub where we go for our roast dinner most Sundays and often for fish and chips on Friday.

If you're a doggie person like me I'm sure this face will make your heart melt.

My hubby was lucky enough to be able to take early retirement at 50.  He took on the job of food shopping as it's something I don't enjoy.

However for our Christmas food shop I go too and we tear the list in two and both go for it.  We're doing to main shop this morning.  We'll be popping in to see Jim and have some lunch on the way home.

All cards are sent and decorations up.  We have a Christmas Dinner with friends to look forward to on Tuesday.

I'm linking up to Annie's  blog A Stitch in time Week 150 where we share happy thoughts every Friday.

Happy Christmas Everyone!

Good idea to do half each of the shopping. That would make a good photo for Friday: the pre christmas trolley dash.
Jim, the boxer is adorable.
Happy Christmas to you and your family,
Lisca

Hi Barb,

What an adorable face! How can you not resist sneaking a bite or two to him/her? It sounds like you have everything done and ready to go!

Have a wonderful weekend and if I don't happen to drop by again have a great Christmas!

Hugs,
Kay

Oh my gosh..that Boxer is adorable. I love how he is resting his chops (that is what we call it for our doggy) on the table. Hubby does our shopping now since my injury, but I don't think he likes it either. now he knows how some of us ladies feel about it ☺ lol

He is adorable and reminds me of Bengo, he was on childrens' TV in the 50's.
We all seem to have gone doggy mad today but they deserve it. Have a good weekend, Angela x

Hope the shopping went well - Jim is gorgeous (and that's coming from a person who prefers cats to dogs - but I can't resist the expression on his face!). Just saw your comment on my egg and cauli cheese recipe - I've never thought of adding bacon, and I adore bacon. I'll try that next time.
