Evening All,
I've been out enjoying myself over the past few days so I apologize for only just catching up with visiting .
The background for this card was some white card. I coloured it with a used and still damp teabag. I think lots of us did this before distress inks.
I stamped some splatters from a Visible Images set. The sentiment and coffee cup are from Stamping Up. I used Dovecraft snippets for the coffee cup, coloured the top with a promarker and added a recycled coffee stirer.
The piece of hessian and string are also snippets. So I'm off to the Snippets Playground with my second entry.
Happy Crafting to you all..

Oh Baaaa-b!! Love your card. Yes I remember using the trusty t-bag, but it was always tricky for me as I use leaves and not bags!! Typical!!
See you at practice tomorrow!!

Your background and its colour is fantastic Barb, looks like latte to me, great with the take away coffee cup lovely design
Hi Barb! I hear screams of the 'rehearsals laughter' from the Playground right now - and the faint bleating of a sheep being chased by Sam's dog! Thank goodness I'm safely tucked up on the bed here out of harm's way - although Parsnip was raring to go and scampered out to play well over half an hour ago.
LOVE this card - sums up a messy (in a nice way) cup of coffee perfectly.

oh golly this is a cute card. I have so much to learn.. especially the tea bag technique. l
What a lovely card Barb and the organic feel with the teabag staining and the hessian and twine works really well. I love the VI splatters too. I've been looking back over your wonderful creations and I have to mention your RD card with the glitter covered napkin which is a fantastic idea. I'm sorry I haven't been to visit sooner but have been so busy for the last week or two but things have quietened down a but now. x
Beautiful background Barb! I love that you used a teabag and the stir stick is the cherry on top!

I've done tea dye with fabric, but never tried with c/s...and what a lovely patina you achieved. Love the mottled vintage look with that texture of the burlap...and a great look for this cup of java. Cute sentiment to go along with the coffee cup too. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, TFS & Hugs too.
Excellent idea for using the tea bag for the background. Love how you have incorporated the used stirrer into the cup too. Hugs Mrs A.

I echo everyone else's wondering comments. This card is brilliant and I love that you did the colouring with a "still damp" teabag!
