Good Morning and thank you for popping by.
Today I'm showing an MDF heart that I decorated several weeks ago.
It's something completely different for me but I really had fun playing.
I stuck all sorts of bits and pieces including diecuts, bits of embossed card, buttons and beads onto the heart. Then I painted it all with two coats of black gesso. I finished by rubbing on green and then gold Inca Gold with my fingers.
I ended up with very messy hands but enjoyed it very much. Goodness knows what I'll do with it now ....
I'd like to enter this into the Allsorts Challenge blog where the theme this time is Anything but a Card.
Well it's a dark dank day here today and no football on the television so I'm off up to my cabin for a couple of hours of crafting fun.

Barb, this is amazing, I really LOVE it! Depending on the size you could turn it into a pendant or fridge magnet . . . it would make a great stocking filler! Have a great weekend . . . even if the weather is miserable! Hazel xx
I love the way your heart turned out Barb. It's good to try something different now and again isn't it. I just bought some of the Inka Gold at the NEC last week, I love it.

Beautiful work Barb, love all the lovely elements to it and the fabulous metallic look. I have hearts I bought last year at the NEC, but never get around to doing anything with them, so this is great inspiration, thanks, Kate x

This is gorgeous! hope you had fun in the craftroom too....xxx
It's gorgeous with all that patina and the bits you've added to embellish. Could it be used with a pin back to wear as a brooch? (not sure how large or heavy it might be). It's so pretty, be a shame to not use it for something! TFS & Hugs
Oh wow--what a beautiful creation, Barb! This is really impressive!
