Wishing You Well

Hello Friends!

We're home after  a wonderful holiday in Tuscany.  It even exceeded my expectations and we enjoyed it so much the plan is to go to Umbria next year

Now I just have to do the washing and ironing ....

This is a card I made,  just before we went away,  for a cousin who had  come out of hospital.

The stamp was sent by a kind craft buddy.  After stamping the image I gave the card a light wash of blue then coloured the roses and flowers in with Sparkle pens.  Sadly the sparkle doesn't show up well in the photo.

The banner is from a set by Elizabeth Crafts which had just arrived together with the set of sentiments which fitted them.

I'm going to be very busy for the next few days but hope to have caught up with visiting you all over the next week.

Glad you enjoyed your holiday, such a pity that after holidays comes the laundry mountain!
Gorgeous card, such pretty colours. One day somebody will invent a camera that does justice to sparkle!

I'll never get to Italy, so can only imagine how wonderful it is! The only thing my iron gets used for these days is ribbon to go on a card--haha! Love the roses & that banner is really neat--lovely card, Barb!

I'm pleased to read that you enjoyed your holiday Barb and I'm also pleased to read how well you're doing with your driving. It takes a great deal of courage to get back in the driving seat when your not confident about doing it, so well done you. Your card is really pretty and I love the Roses, superb colouring. So glad that you had a great holiday Barb, it's a shame about the washing though, that's always the bit I hate about coming home. I love your gorgeous card and the lovely colours you've used too.

This is so very pretty Barb and super colouring even though the sparkle had evaded the camera (seems a common problem). I bet your cousin loved it.

Glad to hear you had a good holiday and that you are getting back to driving. Where would we be without a car. Lovely card and beautiful background stamp but a shame when the camera doesn't do them justice.
