My card today was a very quickly made a couple of weeks ago using a piece of gelli plate print.
I diecut the bee from it a couple of years ago to make another card but kept the waste.
When I rubbed round the edges with oxide fosillized amber it looked a bit solid and flat so I squiggled lines with a marker and sprinked and heated clear embossing powder round the top right hand corner.
The bee is a Bigz die and the sentiment is letters cut out with a Tim Holtz set of letters.

This just goes to show throw nout out just in case and in this case it came in very handy. The bee looks brilliant and really stands out against your gelli plate colouring. We had a very large bee in the back garden the other day that looked like it had gotten dislodged from the roof in all the rains. It was on the window ledge drying its wings out before buzzing off. This is a great card, I love the background and your scribbling.
How funny that you were in the same cafe a few weeks ago - it is great in there isn't it. I only live down the road but rarely go over there. We took the train and made a day of it, no driving, no parking, very relaxed.
