Loobi Hoop!

Hello on this lovely sunny Monday.  I hope you are having a good day.

Yesterday I went to Loobi Crafts in Leighton Buzzard for a Dabble Day with some friends and we made a total of 8 projects.

Anne, Cobnut Crafter was there.  We first met at a Loobi class and it's the first time our paths have crossed since we started following each other.  So it was good to catch up in person again.

We had a lovely lunch and lots of cake and everybody enjoyed the day very much.

Here is one of the cards we made using a new Woodware set called Embroidery Hoop.

I was so tired when I got home I didn't even lift the lid of my laptop so I am again behind with my visits  but will pop in to see what everybody has been up to over the next few days.

I would like to enter my card into the challenge  at Crafting from the Heart #153 (Anything Goes)

What a lovely cross stitch card. It amazes me just how tiring it can be attending a crafty workshop - I slept for most of the evening after the last one I went to!! They are always fun though and it sounds as if you enjoyed yourself.

Loving your card Barb. Sounds like you had a good day at the workshop but I can understand you feeling tired as they are often quite intense days but so enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the workshop with Oyster Stamp and may need a couple of early nights before then lol! Nearly forgot to say, lovely card too Lol! Happy crafty week, Angela xXx

Hi Barb, It was so lovely to see you again on Sunday and have the chance for a bit of a catch-up, although the crafting was pretty intense and we also needed time to eat all that cake! Like you, I was pretty zapped in the evening. Your card is lovely and your stitching is a lot neater than mine - so I clearly need a bit more practice. Thanks again for sharing a link to my blog. Hope to see you again at the next Dabble Day - or sooner! Anne xx

Hi Barb

What a great card! I love the theme . .. and of course the cross-stitched heart!!

Pleased you had a good and productive day.

I am way behind with catching up with everyone's blogs. Just grabbing a few minutes now before I start cutting a mountain of card for invitations and prepping for making 80 dior bows!

Hope your batteries are now back to being fully charged.

Love Jules xx
