Rudolph Day Elf

Happy Monday Everybody!

Well I never thought I'd be saying I'm "Crafted out" but I actually am.

I went to clubs last Monday and Wednesday and to two different workshops on Friday and Saturday then this morning to another club and I couldn't really think properly!

As I've been out and about so much I'm well behind with my visits but will get round to you over the next few days - I promise!

My card today was made using the super cute set of  Avery Elle stamps that I was delighted to win in last month's Rudolph Day Challenge.

I cut my card with the Presscut stepper die and used Cardwork Card papers and candi  from the Cheery Christmas set. A little fussy cutting - oops! I added a bit of sparkle pen to the elf's hat and the candi holly berry then found I'd got a huge smudge of red ink on the top of his scroll.  It actually turned out to be a good thing as I stamped again, cut out the top of the scroll and decoupaged over the smudge using 3D glue gel and was pleased with the result.

I'm entering my card into the  March Rudolph Day Challenge which runs every month from 25th until the end of the month.  Maureen very generously offers a prize each month to the lucky winner.

What a fabulous card, and a great idea to do a stepper card for Christmas, never enters my head but will have to alter that. Great image, love the papers and the design.
I suppose sometimes you can overload on crafting, I think I have just lately as I seem to have lost the plot this week.

Well I had every good intention of making my card today for Rudolph day but got side tracked into painting a little girl instead and she is definitely not in Christmas colours. I love your Elf and your fab stepper card. I haven't made one of those for ages. Now I've gone and gotten side tracked again. It's no wonder I never get anything done! Hugs Mrs A. ps. I did cut the lawn.

Your card is so darling, Barb! I am intrigued by all the sweet details! I had to chuckle at you being "crafted out!" I thought you were joking until I read what you've been up to - I'd be crafted out, too, after all that!! Hugs, Darnell

Very cute card-this elf is quite handsome. Neat idea to make a step card. I like the papers you used and embellishments. It all works together so well. I'm not having luck making Christmas cards this year. I made some every week last year and laughed with glee at the end of the year. I suspect I'll be weeping this year.

Oh you have been having such craft fun! Bet you learned lots of new nifty techniques, which I will look forward to seeing here. Congrats on winning this adorable set. Well used on this darling Rudy Day card, and I love the stepper layout. Traditional colors for the season always make me happy, and your card is just lovely! TFS & Hugs.
