Lady in Red

Hello and thank you for your visit.

I recently went to a class where we used the  Stampin Up set "Gorgeous You".  I really enjoyed using this lovely set and ordered them straight away.

I've made two quick cards using the same lady and a set of Spellbinders dies for matting and layering.

The papers I used are also from Stampin Up.

Just a bit of paper piecing and some ribbon and twine from my stash and the cards were soon finished.

I would like to enter this card into the challenge at

Try it on Tuesday - Lady in Red

Wonderful use of papers on both cards love the bold colourway of the first card these are great papers, the second has softer tones but is just as effective.

Two fabulous cards Barb and I adore the idea of die cutting the shape to reveal the pretty patterned paper beneath, and then the slightly smaller die used for the topper, and the SU image is extremely pretty, also love the finishing ribbon and twine. x

Love both these fabulous glam looks. When I saw this set in the catalog, it didn't really appeal to me. Wow, the ways you've used with the paper piecing, sure makes it a standout. I especially like the treatment in #1 too! Well done! Bet this will help SU sell a lot of this set. TFS & Hugs
