This is a card I made a while ago using a piece of acrylic paper which I covered with Crayola Slick Stix in a few hot colours then blended with fingers and an almost dry babywipe.
I dry brushed on some white gesso then when dry stamped with some script and a few stars in black before distressing the edge.
The large hearts were stamped and embossed using one of Leonie Pujol's stamps then fussy cut. I added some red pen to the edges then some glossy accents.
the little hearts are punched from a scrap and the Happy Anniversary stamp is by Hobby Art and I put some glossy accents over that too.

This sounds like an interesting technique to try, and it certainly created such a lovely textured background too. Dry brushing the gesso was a brilliant touch as well.
