I am delighted and very proud to have been invited to be a guest designer for the Stamping Sensations Challenge which begins today.
I began by scoring at every 1/2 inch diagonally, both ways on a piece of 5" square white card.
I shaded two sides of each scored square then stamped my image and a few snowflakes with a blue die inkpad. I used the same colour to add a little colour and shape to the bauble then added some glitter glue.
As I didn't have the right colour of blue card for the matting I coloured white card with the same inkpad and stamped a few snowflakes in black around the edge of the background matt.
I do hope you will be able to join in with the challenge at Stamping Sensations. Do pop over and look at the lovely cards made by the Design Team members.

Morning Barb,
The quilting effect is amazing and so realistic and using just the blue with the white really makes it into a statement card.
Thanks you so much for being our Guest Designer at Stamping Sensations this month and creating this lovely card to inspire us all.
Hope you have a good Sunday, it's a chilly and frosty one here.

Congratulations on your GDT spot Barb, beautifully designed and coloured card, lovely embossing on the background, fabulous effect, and the Dutch style look is gorgeous, Kate x
A lovely card and the quilted effect is brilliant. I often find background colours difficult to match - particularly blues for some reason (lots of them are too turquoise) and using a matching ink pad to colour the layer is a great idea and of course you only need to do the edge!
A lovely card Barb, love the quilted effect and the blue and white colour scheme, looks like delft China

Gorgeous card Barb, love the quilted look of the background and some lovely images. OI have done that before today, using a marker or ink on a backing card to match the colours used on an image.
