Rainy Day!

Well actually it's a lovely sunny day here today.  I hope you're having a good one too.

Just a quick post as hubby is taking me out for lunch shortly so no cooking to do tonight .....

I made this card a while ago using up bits and pieces and old punches.

The image and sentiment are both from from  Hobby Art set of stamps, the flower from my stash and everything else is scraps.

I water coloured the image and added a little glossy accents to the flower.

I'm entering the Challenge over at Moving Along With the Times - #32 Cute Animals

Oh so cute stamp and lovely gingham paper. Nice layout and pretty flowers too.
Hope you enjoyed your lunch. I have spent the day doing Pepper Pig and Mr men jigsaws several times over and a very messy painting session with my two year old Great Granddaughter, and now I feel exhausted.

I love that sentiment just so long as I'm wearing my wellies though. Been a lovely day here too so got some some gardening done closely watched by a very interested toad who kept hoping in and out of the pond to see what i was up to. Hugs Mrs A.

What a fun puddle jumper on your card! It's raining here today also, so perhaps I need to borrow this hedgie's flower to stay dry :) Cute card!

It's a happy feeling card, even though it's a rainy day. Love this darling hedgie with his flower umbrella, and I like the way you've used the shapes to create such interest in the design. It's a delightful card, and bound to cheer up whomever is lucky enough to receive it. TFS & Happy wkend.
