A Wonderful Day!

Evening Everybody!  I hope you've enjoyed your Day.

I certainly have.  I went to the craft show at Stoneleigh with my friend.  I won't show you what I bought although as always it was far to much.

But we had a great time and this is what Wendy and I made for our two Make and Takes.  The reveal card is a lovely gold which turned out bronze looking in the photo and the script on the tag, as hubby pointed out straight away, is stamped upside down!  I know it's a rubbish photo but it was taken in a hurry and I'm really sooooo tired.

However - the highlight of the day was meeting up with Miss Di and Mrs A.  What a lovely long chat we had with them.  I really enjoyed it but silly me I completely forgot to have a photo taken with them as I'd planned to do.

Thank you so much for dropping by again.

Ah... so I started writing a comment but I think I closed the page before I hit send. I was saying that it is very cool to get to meet up with some of your fellow bloggers/crafters. Your make and takes are lovely, sentiment upside down or no (can't tell from the photo). I really like that reveal one. It caught my eye right off.

What gorgeous makes! Point out to your husband that the tag is a two-way one, and therefore much more versatile than a one way one!
Glad you met up with Di and Mrs A - I was lucky enough to meet them both when Darnell was over in the UK. I love your idea of meeting up with them, me, you and Liz, wouldn't that be a hoot?

I can imagine you had a lovely day with Di and Mrs A (only 'know' them through blogging). I can also imagine that you all probably managed to buy lots of new goodies and I'm sure we will see some of them being used soon. Love the tag, even if the text is upside down!

Will email asap, still need to unpack all the shopping from the weekend, Love your make and takes Barb. And it was fabulous to meet up with you at long last! We also realised about the photos literally just as we were walking to meet our taxi. A real shame, but the memories and meeting in oerson are the most important bit.

More hugs

Super makes - despite the Australian stamping . . . like Jane W said above . . . more versatile this way!

Glad you had lots of fun meeting up with Miss Di and Mrs A . . . I kept an eye on the news, but didn't see anything drastically gone wrong oop North so you must have been on best behaviour!

The card is very art nouveau and love the inkiness of the tag.

Hi Barb,
2 gorgeous creations your tag is stamped and inked really lovely, and the reveal on is super.
I too have that Hunkydory Art Deco set as my sister turns 70 in December and she loves anything Art Deco so I had to get it ready to make her a special card.
So gald you had a lovely time and met Miss Di, and Mrs A.
Chritine Harrop and Ang Mrs Duck were also there.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Playing catchup from the Weekend but really enjoyed meeting up with you and Wendy. Love your make and take pieces. I stamped my butterflies upside down on a music score on one of my make and takes as well so will have to redo it. Still sorting stuff out. Did we really buy all this!! Hugs Mrs A.
