Happy Scrapping!

Good Morning and thank you for your visit today.

I've recently been having a play with Brushos again and the results I get really are very mixed!

Anyway I had two small pieces lying in a pile of scaps on my desk and yesterday afternoon  decided to use them up.

I rounded the corners and black embossed the flower stems then using the same Paper Artsy set stamped and layered up the flower heads.

The black pieces were also scraps which I embossed and the sentiment is from an Inky Doodles set.

After sticking all the pieces to the white cards I realised I'd got a smudge of red ink on the bottom of one card.   After just a few expletives and not to be beaten I rounded the corners of the card and added a blush of red around the edge to cover up the smudge.

It's our monthly craft club this evening so I look forward to seeing what we'll be making.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi Barb,
what super cards made with your snippets.
Those flowers are gorgeous, and lovely and bright, and brusho backgrounds are fab.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Glad it isn't just me that gets mixed results with Brusho!! These are great and a clever 'cover-up' on one of them - good job there are ways of covering the odd smudge, I get them as well.

Think we've all made those kind of "mistakes" and well done on your chosen "save" - good call too - super makes

Very pretty Barb and you would never notice the red smudge was there. I am always getting ink from my mat or my fingers where I don't want it, and I hope the recipients don't turn the card over too much as there is quite often an ink mark on the back..lol. x

Super inky fun Barb, I so love Brushos as each time it's different and there are never any mistakes and both of today's shares are lovely with the bold red flower.

These are lovely Barb. I've lost count of the amount of cards that I've needed to change after smudging at the last minute :). The flowers are very pretty. Sandra X

So beautiful cards with your brushos scraps and the pretty double flowers, clever idea! So clever add a marker border to cover a mistake, too!

The brusho backgrounds are lovely, and I like the way you've used the bright pop of the bloom with the dark leaves. That's what is so fun with brusho-s, you just never know what the results will be. But they are always pretty (well, of course, unless you create mud!) TFS & Hugs

Your Brushos colors are rather muted. I'm using to seeing them very vivid. However, muted works well for your cards because then that flower blossom can be vivid and pop.
