Good Morning on a very wet day here in the east Midlands.
My card today was made quite a few years ago using a red rubber cling stamp which was stamped onto white card and then coloured in with Promarkers. I stamped again and coloured one pear which was fussy cut, shaped and added with silicone glue for dimension.
I rubbed distress ink around the edge and stamped off a little on the background too.
The sentiment is by Paula Pascal and stamped onto a scrap of card which had been coloured with tea then I diecut with a small Marianne die.
I didn't realise when I made this how ragged the black matt was... oops!
As it's Friday I'm joining in with Erika on her Snappy Crafts blog where she invites us to share any craft project from way back. It doesn't have to be a card. Link up with Erika and she'll visit you too.
I hope you all have a good day and enjoy your weekend, whatever your plans.

Hi Barb,
what a gorgeous Oldie today.
Your colouring of the pears is ace.
I love your very fab design, and the edges of the black card just make it look eveb more vintage also, as the image looks quite vintage I think.

Beautiful card, Barb! I remember when pears were all the rage and I think they are coming back in vogue again! So this is a wonderful oldie to share! I wish I had taken photos of the cards I made a few years ago - I never thought to photograph them until I started my blog so you were very clever!

I remember when pears were all the rage. I'll bet this card dates back to that time. However, it is still fresh and lovely today.
Your pairs look delicious. Love the idea of using tea to colour the sentiment. hugs Mrs A.

Love this card. just tried to pick up on your Snippets challenge card but got 'page does not exist' message - don't know if you are aware of this glitch.
It may be an oldie, but it sure is a goodie! Fab coloring on those pears!
It may be old but has stood the test of time and is still fabulous! Brilliant realistic colouring on those pears! xxx
Love this card, fab stamp and lovely colouring. I'm often guilty of ragged mats and uneven ones too even though I use perfect layer rulers , all adds to the handmade charm is my reasoning !
Love the stamp and your elegant card design Barb.
Hugs diane
Just beautiful. The whole design is perfect as always, Barb. X
