A Male Snippet!

I came back from a short break on Thursday so yesterday  after getting the washing finished  managed a bit of crafty time in the afternoon.

Some time ago Wendy got us making cards for men at our monthly club using images cut from magazines.

Yesterday I made a few Christmas cards plus this card using snippets of card and paper and an image cut from a magazine.

The border is a scrap of silver miri card embossed in my Cuttlebug, rubbed with a sanding block then rubbed over with a black stazon ink pad.

I'm taking it over to join in with the playmates at Pixies Snippets Playground - Week 246

What a great idea of using images from magazines for mens cards (I shall have to remember this one). They certainly make super cards.

How cool!! At first I thought you'd made a shadow box! It looks like a 3-D project. That embossed border is incredible, and I absolutely love it. Such a perfect masculine card. Love it! Thanks too, for all your kind comments on my blog; DH keeps me hopping so I don't often have enough time to get back to everyone. He's settled in, so I have a smidgen of time today! Bev

Hope you had a nice time away - and well done on making "some" Christmas cards. I feel chuffed if I manage to sneak one in!!!

Yes, it seems Mr Heart did miss some football on Sunday .. .. but he recorded it and watched it last night. He enjoyed himself at the fayre though and is more than happy to go again. Good news for me!!

Have a lovely week.
