Hello again,
This is a photo I took yesterday evening after bringing in the washing. The twirly line is in the centre of the picture if you look hard.
When hanging out the washing in the morning both the philladelphus and the tree were absolutely covered in bees collecting pollen.
It was an amazing sight and made me feel very happy. Their buzzing was really loud and continuous.
The shrub hasn't been pruned for the last couple of years and is very big. The scent is absolutely intoxicating right up to the back gate.
I'm popping over to link up with Annie on her Stitch in Time blog where she invites us to join in each Friday with happy moments from our week,

So. Much. Greenery! My gosh that's lovely looking. I think my brain would explode to see that here.
Lovely photo Barb, it's nice to take please from the simple things Nature has to offer. And I know just what you mean about the bees and perfume as we have a Philladelphus under our bedroom window, also long over due for a prune hence it's so high. The bees also seem to like Ceanothus as all of them have a constant hum when you walk past.

Wow! What a magnificent shrub! I can almost smell it! Bees can make a lot of noise when there are many. I have experienced that too. It's an awesome sound.
Thank you for visiting,
Have a great week with lots of smiles,
Blessings,
Lisca
A fabulous tree - what a beautiful sight
Just beautiful and I can imagine the scent. There's a wonderful floral scent that I can smell from my driveway, but I can't figure out where it is coming from, so I just enjoy it, after all It's better than the smell from the chicken farm when they have a clean out! Cara x
How lovely to have so many bees around your gorgeous plant. We can't have too many bees.
Hugs,

That is a beautiful philadelphus and the tree looks interesting too. I love to hear the bees in the plants too. You have a lovely green and fertile garden. I miss that out here. Kate x
My goodness this is a happy moment indeed, for you and for me as I love seeing your photo, it's just a stunning yard and home, and how wonderful to know the bees are happy by your home. It's good to know there are so many, I've been hearing on the news how the bee population is not very good. Again thank you for sharing. you have a beautiful home.
Gorgeous picture--I can almost smell that beautiful scent!
No wonder the bees love that tree, the flowers are amazing, the pollen obviously tastes good too.
Have a lovely weekend in your garden.

This is such a lovely photo. You have caught the tree in such a multitude of gorgeous blooms...I can almost hear those bees humming too.
You have the kind of laundry pole thing that my mother in law had. She was a war bride from Filey Yorkshire. Tbhose pole thingy's are not as common here...I want one for the lake as they take up so little room when folded up and would be handy there. It can get to 42 degrees so laundry would dry in 30-40 minutes, methinks!
Hi Barb, thanks for the visit to mine. Just trying to catch-up with a few visits. This is a gorgeous photograph and I can just smell those gorgeous flowers. I have great respect for bees, they are such an important insect that would cause great problems if they disappeared. Have a great week, Angela x
