Windy!

Good Morning on this wet and Windy spring day!

I used a 6" square kraft card for this one.  The stamps are from two sets of Kidomo red rubber stamps bought from C & C many years ago.

I stamped the background randomly with a leaf stamp..

The trees are stamped and added a little Black Soot distress ink onto a piece of  a balsa wood box. It originally held a Macaroni Cheese ready meal which I enjoyed when my hubby was out for the day recently with friends.

The button and thread are from my stash and the paper and black card were scraps which was lying around on my desk.  I tore the paper to fit and also tore the bottom of the black matt.
I would like to enter my card into the challenge at Shopping our Stash - 4 Elements.  My element is Wind although Earth may also work.  Also Seize the Birthday Challenge - Adding Dimension.

Great card. Like all the elements you have used. I quite often salvage bits from food boxes . Must admit though that I have a pile of Kraft card just begging to be used. Hugs Mrs A.

This is so pretty with all the earthy elements. I love how the "wind" blew all the leaves off the trees onto the background :)

I had to laugh at you using a ready meal box, but why waste it? I like the look of the black on brown and I do like all the stamps. Love the button and thread too.

Barb thanks for the cactus information, I shall have a look at the link you have sent.
Good to know it is not just neglect that makes it looks so funny.
Hugs Erika. x

This is a really interesting card Barb and the kraft with the brown ink gives the background a lovely tone on tone look and the trees are beautifully framed with the torn pieces of box and black card and the button and thread are a lovely finishing touch. x
